Tom
House The videographer who will be documenting The 2006 Miss Rodeo America Pageant this year is Tom House, with Video II Productions from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This will be his ninth year with the pageant. He originally got involved with the pageant in the late seventies when he was asked to help produce and print the pageant program. Since he was producing the program for the National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City for The Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce and the PRCA, this seemed a natural situation that worked well for many years. When the NFR and the pageant moved to Las Vegas in 1985, Tom moved right along with it and produced the pageant programs and also began learning about video and videotaping the pageant. Several years later, the photographer who was also doing the video of the pageant, decided to let Tom do the video and that's how he started in 1987. In 1990 Tom moved on to other ventures, but in 1996 he rejoined the pageant team when he again took over video taping duties. During the 2005 MRA Pageant, Tom put together a highlight video of the past eight pageants and put them on a single DVD which he provided free to each person who purchased a video of that year's pageant. " I felt they would enjoy seeing a little history of the pageant and it worked into the 50th year anniversary theme that year," he said. Offering both Miss Rodeo America Pageant DVD's and VHS tape for sale (over in the MRA Store), Tom documents all the events at the pageant in a four-set package of the Top Ten or the Top Ten plus One and the ALL VIDEO which consists of all the major events that go on during pageant week.
